In case you missed it, a few months ago, we announced we would be working with the Jamie Oliver Group to develop ‘Health Heroes’, an app that we hope will change the way young people manage their diet.
‘Collaborating with Public Health Warwickshire & Coventry University, Evolyst were the winners of an Innovate UK award (The Government’s Technology Strategy Board) to develop the idea with the backing of The Jamie Oliver Group.
Coventry University will be assisting with the trials, which we hope will provide evidence that utilising behaviour change theories and elements of gamification are successful in helping children to achieve a more balanced diet.’
We can now announce that the first usability trials for Health heroes will be commencing in October, where we will listen to user’s opinions and hope to gain some valuable data which will be used to improve the app.
We still can’t reveal too much about Health Heroes… but we can show you some potential designs that may be included in the final release.
